Data Deletion

Anyone whose personal data MediHost AI holds: clinic owners and staff who use the platform, people who contacted us by email or WhatsApp, and visitors who filled in a form on our websites.

Patients of a clinic: your health records belong to the clinic that treated you, and the clinic decides about them. Please ask your clinic first. If you cannot reach the clinic, write to us and we will pass your request on and help the clinic act on it.

• Your account and login details, and the logins of your staff
• Your clinic profile, settings, website content and marketing data
• Messages you exchanged with us by email or WhatsApp
• Contact details collected from our website forms
• Data we received from Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp when you connected them to MediHost AI

Clinics: before your account is closed, you can ask for an export of your clinic's data. Say so in your request and we will send you the export before we delete anything.

Some records must be kept by law even after a deletion request. We keep them only for as long as the law requires, protect them in the same way, and do not use them for anything else:

• Health and treatment records, for the period required by applicable healthcare regulation
• Invoices, payments and tax records, for the period required by tax law
• Records we need to handle a legal claim, a complaint or fraud

When we keep something, our reply tells you what we kept and why.

Backups are used only to recover from a system failure. If we ever restore one, we delete your data again before the system is used.

If you connected your Facebook page, Instagram account or WhatsApp Business number to MediHost AI, you can also remove our access yourself: in Facebook go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites), select MediHost AI and choose Remove. Then send us a request as above so we delete the data we already received.
